It really is a beautiful love story. Moonlight in the Morning.

Lyonene looked at them in horror. So much jealousy, so many misunderstandings, such weak-minded characters Ex-library with the usual stamps. This is also shorter compared to other historical romance novels. The story’s conflicts were exasperating. I think that Jude Deveraux does a good job with that type of stroy line. A Knight in Shining Armor. Although, it was taxing to read, I had enjoyed it.

Melite turned to her husband and smiled sweetly. Through a whirlwind romance and stormy marriage, she endured perilous danger to be by his side, but web of vicious lies, spread by a jealous vixen drove Lyonene from her home and Ranulf, and into entrapment across the Irish Sea. This is supposed to be the first book of the Montgomery series, though the name Montgomery doesnt appear until near the end of the book.

I wasn’t to sure about starting this series because I have seen some bad reviews there is a scene where he slaps her- it didn’t put me offbut yet it was recommended on an Amazon Discussion as favorite books with alphas and hero jealousy.

Despite the predictable relationship, I did enjoy the book and found myself somewhat caught up in the side-plots, however brief and lightly sketched they were. Thing is, I can usually just accept a moment or two like that in HR because I know that’s how it really was back then. I read this book three weeks ago, and have forgotten most of it already. No Mistress of Mine. Ranulf is a great warrior who meets the gentle and beautiful Lyonene and is betrothed very quickly.

This reread of wild romance between Lion and His Lioness leaves me happy. Setelah itu, giliran Lyonene lagi yang kurang kepercayaan kepada Ranulf. Around the Year i I immediately fell in Love with Deveraux’s writing.

In fact, instead of being like ‘great I married some stranger who hates me’ like any other no Ohhhhh boy. Didn’t really connect with any of the characters, and while new plot points kept being thrown in they all were resolved too easily.

But vanguard lusted after her and he wait for the birth in cause of his plans for her come true. His jealousy is over the top and because of a set up by a jealous previous suitor of Lyonene he is brutal to her and wants no love from her.

The top of her head did not reach his shoulder.

The Black Lyon

He must speak to her. It was a light, easy read. Lyonene descended the stone steps slowly, touching the worn walls as they spiraled to the lighted hall below. She is a very good author. After all this she still loves her husband and is ready to dies for her and all about the dance is forgotten.

I think that this use of a naive heroine goes sort of hand in deeraux with the age in which this was written, so I did expect it to a certain extent, but I’ve also read it much better done. Expected to read about a Montgomery, as the genealogy says this is the first in the series. I thought that I might have liked it because it seemed like a nice medieval romance.
