She manages to pull it together at the end, though, and by the time I got to that point I was pulling for her to linsella her HEA. I went into it with fairly low expectations, and ended up liking it far more than I kinzella I would. If the entire book had been told from Lottie’s perspective, I don’t know that I would have been able to finish it.
I also really disliked the main character Lottie from the very first page; I felt like she was very immature and I couldn’t connect with her.
She went on to publish six more novels as Madeleine Wickham: For the most part there were all things to them that kept me from tearing through the pages like I would for some of the earlier novels. Just not what I expected. Her main characters always remind me a little bit of Bridget Jones. Her books are light and fluffy reads and are always quick to bring a smile to my face.
Splsi audio version of Sohpie Kinsella’s books are so much more enjoyable than just reading them. It sounds more suitable for the weird paranormal, vampire love fest books popular knisella.
This story is soooo funny and full of laugh-out-loud moments. Fliss and Lorkin are control freaks in their own right — I can relate — and they bond over their shared intentions to keep Ben and Lottie from the altar.
Dit boek heeft best wel wat negatieve reacties. She is witty and bright and is very adapt at making characters who are fully fleshed out. That gives Lorcan and Fliss time to talk and the tension between them is huge. Fliss, la sorella di Lottie, e Lorcan, il socio in affari di Ben, sono contrarissimi e preoccupatissimi. I didn’t like Lottie or Fliss that much. So, I am a proud renewed member of Audible and will always have one audiobook on the go, on the side of my normal Kindle reading.

I’ve Got Your Number. Gosh, all characters’ libido are just so high! I’ve never hated one of her novels and it’s the same with this. Needless to say, my expectations for this book were very high. It took me quite a while to get into the story, but when I did I couldn’t put it down.
There were so many easy solutions to everything and I would have seriously sued the hotel and been royally pissed at Fliss. She would never stop to think about the consequences until afterwards. Ci si sposa in quattro e quattr’otto e via per un’indimenticabile luna di miele nel luogo che ha visto nascere il loro amore. Did you think what Fliss did was justifiable? This is always the guarantee when you go for a Sophie Kinsella book.
I love the whimsy of the story and the sheer belief that love prevails all. Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella 4 4 Mar 17, And I, personally, would have been pleased as punch if they had. Fliss and Lorkin are control freaks in their own right — I can relat This is by far my least favorite Sophie Kinsella novel gl it spos wasn’t half bad.
Older sister, Fliss, was a bitter divorcee with control issues, while her younger sib, Lottie, was so flighty, immature, and self-o Sophie Kinsella’s last book, I’ve Got Your Number, was my absolute fave, and I loved the fermzte of a Chick Lit story set in Greece, so I’ve been eagerly anticipating Wedding Night for months.
Really, Ben and Lottie have been meaning to do it, but since Lottie wants to turn the direction opposite, they got married. Part of the problem was what emotional resonance there was was invested in the “secondary” storyline.
If you’re a Sophie Kinsella fan, you might be slightly disappointed but as far as books go, it’s a good one overall. Fliss, upon hearing this, knows her sister’s being impulsive and does everything in her power to stop them.

He comes across as serious and grumpy, and he is a bit grumpy, but his sense of humour – irony, possibly dead-pan – comes across at just the right times.
Loved the story, the characters, made me laugh at various times. However as a fan I’ve given it a critical review, comparing it to her other novels.
