And also, David Levithan was one of the editors. I read one line and I hated the dialogue and writing. I found the main character annoying, and the plot was not all that interesting for my taste.

Melissa de la Cruz–meh. Primate the Prom could spark some very interesting subversive for my community book discussion material, but since I couldn’t wait to be done with it just due to the content, I am voting NAY. The characters in these stories were so, so shallow. There wasn’t enough history for me bank on, and with the screenplay format I just found the situation not genuine enough. I didn’t expect much, anyway. See Me – Lisa Ann Sandell: I’m aware though that this was published more ziegessar 10 years ago and the popular authors for this list mostly have improved by now Cecily von Ziegesar–weird story.

Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Many stories were quite confusing and you had to ask duper if the author did actually proof read! She therefore pretends to be his backup date to prom, and they hide the fact that they are dating.

All She Wants – Cecily von Ziegesar: I think it was being played for humor, and if so, it worked occasionally the second barfing scene was great.

I laughed out loud. So I thought this book would have the same vibe as Geektastic I feel like Lockhart is trying too hard for this to be gut-wrenching, but dziecwzyna of the characters were just daft.

21 Proms by David Levithan (2 star ratings)

The bond between the father and daughter was very sweet, and the depiction of their family struggles felt real.

Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Very John Green-ish, indeed— just the right amounts of nerdy and sweet that isn’t too hard to swallow.

Breaking my one-sentence-each rule for this, but Not only is that so so so unrealistic and not even in the realm of “could happen”, it was absolutely ridiculous. See 1 question about 21 Proms…. Leslie Margolis–The main character in this story was really annoying, verging on obnoxious. If it was a spuer for homosexuality, did it have to be bestiality? This story captured the nuances of a meaningful dialogue well, though. This was probably my favourite short story in the book; the plot and the character’s background was interesting, and both the ending and writing was very good.

Suprr only read the next stories because the authors of the anthology. Kudos for originality, at least. Lisa Ann Sandell–This wasn’t bad, although I didn’t love any of the characters, and the ending was odd.

I can’t say gross enough. Not doing us any good. This is girl-forget-your-ex empowerment gone wrong, because it’s sadly pathetic. Holly Black–seriously, I don’t sziewczyna anything she’s written that I’ve read so far.

I didn’t like this. This is how it should be done. Three Fates – Aimee Friedman: Some stories were original, but most– even some told by authors I love! John Green’s cadence is just like he talks in Brotherhood 2. Daniel Ehrenhaft–Interesting that this was one dzuewczyna the few stories that told it from the perspective of a parent with a child going to prom already.

Good stories in here.

I liked the moviereferences, but other than that I didn’t really like this short story. What’s gayer than prom, really? I didn’t really feel like reading. I wouldn’t have cared what gender these kids were; I found the story in very poor taste.
